Preparation

Please respect this beautiful place and Leave No Trace! Pack your trash out with you when you leave. Please bring everything you will need to keep you alive, healthy, and active for three days. You will need to bring your own water. Portapotties will be available. Bring clothing to keep you warm and active for chilly Fall nights. Take whatever precautions you wish for fire ants, sunshine, and cold nights.

This event is in a flammable area, so we must be careful. That means taking an Altoids tin or an empty film cannister with you for cigarette butts. Fire art will be allowed only with prior approval, with conditions permitting, as it is a very fire sensitive area. Propane heaters and burn barrels will be allowed only in approved locations. Please bring any lights to add to the splendor of light shows already planned. People-friendly dogs are welcome.
